🌊 Once upon a time on the sparkling waters off Queensland, a passionate boatie named Andy Ellis noticed something. While cruising the ocean with family and friends, everyone loved to jump in and swim — but jellyfish, currents and open-water hazards often turned fun into worry. Andy wanted a way for everyone — especially kids — to enjoy the ocean safely without losing that magical feeling of freedom you get in open water.
🧠 That’s when Magic Swim was born. In 2012 Andy set out to create something special — a floating swimming enclosure that transforms a patch of ocean into your own safe swimming pool. The concept was simple: design a pool that could be attached to a boat, keep out stingers and sea critters with fine netting, and give families a protected area to splash, play and relax together.
